Skyline Homes Cape Cod has been in the home construction business on the Outer Cape for more than 20 years.  Licensed at age 23,  and fully insured, John Largey, Skyline’s founder, began in the construction business as a roofer at the age of 19.

After gradually adding a crew to work with him, Skyline Homes expanded into siding installation, framing, and then custom work.  New homes, including his family’s home in Eastham, garages (attached and free-standing), dormers and addition, are also part of the Skyline Homes experience.  Skyline has also built commercial shop space for a landscaper in Wellfleet.

Skyline’s custom home projects come from local architects who’ve recognized Skyline Homes as well-experienced in home construction.  All of Skyline Homes’ jobs have respected and protected Cape Cod’s environment.  Skyline makes it a point to preserve as much of the natural element of a building lot, and will work around those elements as an integral part of the project.

Several of Skyline’s recent projects are listed in the Our Projects section, including phased images for the before – during – after effects of our work.  Please make sure you take a look – – – you never know when you may find an idea to incorporate into your new home’s plans.

No project is too big or too small for home construction, additions, garages, dormers, or whatever your needs may be. Chances are we’ve built it and can show you our work.

Whatever your need may be, we’re available for a consult. Call or email with any questions you might have about what Skyline Homes Cape Cod can do for you.

I’m John Largey, and I’ve been working in the construction business on Outer Cape Cod for more than twenty years.  I’ve built homes, garages, decks and home additions in the Eastham and Wellfleet area since I started a roofing business at the age of 19.

I’ve been educated in construction technologies at the Cape Cod Community College, and have also learned the building business the hard way – – – with a hammer in my hand and a crew to supervise.  My roofing business grew to include siding work, and that was followed by house framing and hiring out to general contractors for custom work.

I obtained my builder license at the age of 23, and six years later, built a new home for my family.  My first custom home as a general contractor came two years later.  A year after that, at the age of 32, I demolished an old home and replaced it with a new and larger custom home.

As is the case with all home builders, and one thing leading to another, our work also included garages (attached and free-standing), dormers on existing homes, and home additions.  These projects were interspersed between full new home construction projects.

My work also included some commercial construction for a landscaping shop in Wellfleet.  While I enjoyed the challenge that project presented, my first love remains custom home construction.  My affiliation with an Outer Cape Cod architect keeps me busy with that first love.

Projects are always clearly defined with approved plans, prices fixed to those approved plans, and payment schedules for all of the various stages of construction from foundation and cap, to roof-tight, and so on through to completion.  All changes in plans requested by customers will alter both work schedules and payment terms, and are reduced to writing so as to prevent misunderstandings and miscommunications.

If you are looking for an experienced builder to help you with your new home, or your home addition, I’d love to hear from you.  I don’t charge for consults, and nothing is owed until we’ve reached an agreement with approved plans and terms.
